Prof. Thomas Morsch is Professor of Film Studies, Freie Universität Berlin (since 2016), M.A. (Magister) Film Studies, 1996, Ruhr Universität Bochum, PhD. (Dr. phil.) Film Studies, 2008, Freie Universität Berlin (Thesis on “Embodied Perception. Corporeal Experience as Aesthetic Experience in Cinema”, summa cum laude). Part of the Department of Film Studies at the Freie Universität Berlin since 1999, as an Assistant Professor (1999-2009), Junior Professor (2009-2015) and Visiting Professor (2016-).
